Eventually, you will give your blog out to everyone and his dog... and then you don't actually know who's lurking or not lurking... and then of course you are constrained by the bounds of civility from actually ranting about that person.
It's vexing. Very vexing indeed.

Even though LJ has other things wrong with it, I like the friendslocking of posts. You can create custom groups of people, and select which people can read what post. Makes it much easier to bitch about people :)
